Set high in the magnificent Savoie Alps, Tignes offers some
of the best skiing in Europe with guaranteed snow all year.
We have accommodation in the 3 best villages: Val Claret,
the highest, offers the best access to the skiing, being
very close to the foot of the glacier. It has a number of
shops, supermarkets and many restaurants and bistros; Le
Lavachet with chairlift links to Tovière and connections
onto Val d'Isère, offers a variety of cafés/restaurants and
a free bus service to Lac de Tignes (operating day and
night); lastly, bustling, lively Lac de Tignes, with runs
leading directly back into the resort. There is a twice
weekly market here, shops, bars and restaurants and an
ultra-modern sports centre..
Apres Ski:
More than 20 restaurants with menus to suit every palate and
budget, 3-course set menu at around €20, local fondues for
€24 including wine and dessert, pizzas from €8 at:
